Juvenile Continuity of Care Task Force

The work of the Juvenile Continuity of Care Task Force has concluded. The Task Force met from June 2016 to June 2017. The Task Force may be reinstated and re-seated, if additional issues in juvenile continuity of care arise in the future.

This Task Force is addressed the issues of continuum of care for juveniles focusing on the transition of juveniles between systems: Youth Corrections, Probation and Child Welfare. Additionally, the Task Force addressed issues related to crossover youth (crossover youth - those youth who receive services connected to abuse and neglect and the juvenile justice system).

Task Force Members

To ensure balanced representation on the Juvenile Continuity of Care Task Force, the CCJJ Chair and Vice-Chair employ a template to guide the appointment process. Representative agencies and stakeholders are determined first, followed by the appointment of volunteers to the available positions.
